hey everyone!!! i hope everyones having a great friday! i know that I'm happy for this week to be over and get closer to summer vacation!! heres something I've been working on. Its an altered fame. it use to be a really ugly blue color. I painted it with folk arts vintage white and then distressed it with vintage photo then added Tim Holtz rock candy crackle paint! then i put a home made flower on with a K and Company key and some ribbon with sticky pearls! The paper in the frame is recollections elegance collection...LOVE that paper!!!

Hey everyone!!! i hope all of you are having a good weekend! im sad that is ending though! here are some pictures of a dress form that i made. its the front and back of it. on the front of it i put some patterned paper by K and company, their classic K stack and them i put some fabric and some pearls and a recollections flower. on the back i painted it black, them embossed from the bottom of the skirt up with clear embossing powder which turned out really cool ( unfortunately my camera sucks so its hard to see!!)!! and added some peals for the necklace and a flower on the skirt. hope ya like it...thanks so much

a while ago i got the CUTTLEBUG version 2!!! i was sooo excited! its my first ever diecutting machine and i am soo happy!!!

i also just got the sizzex "flower layers" die, its the one with five petals. Im so thrilled! here is one of the first things that i made!

Hey! this is how i make my lollie pop flowers!!

cut 4 pieces of thick cardstock or minilla folders into 2 1/2 inch, 2 inch, 1 1/2 inch and 1 inch squares

round them into circles, THEY DONT HAVE TO BE PERFECT!!!!

for EVERY OTHER circle use your favorite ink pad and dab on the color to the edges of the cardstock.

using your favourite glimmer mist, i used caramel latte by smootch spritz lightly spray your COLORED circles and dab off the excess, then heat dry.

Then heat emboss using clear embossing powder.

with the two OTHER circles use another color of glimmer mist i used ocean breeze by smooch spritz, do that color with a heavy coat then dab off the excess again and put another light coat of caramel latte and dab off the excess. use a heat tool to dry.

take circles and crumple them up then take a pair of scissors and distress the edges of all the circles.

use your best liquid glue and place the circles on top of each other miss matching the colored circle.

when glue is dry roll the edges in a little so you get a more distressed look. add your bling to the center. i used pearls!!! love them!!!
